In Chapter 69, I mistakenly referred to Yajushi as the Finance Minister, whereas she is actually the Intelligence Minister. I apologize for the oversight. I’ve also revised her conversation with Rayan in the previous chapter to reflect this correction. I’m sharing the updated version here so you can read it and avoid any confusion moving forward.
Rayan watched the woman move across his chamber, searching as she inspected every corner. He swung his legs off the bed.
"You're certain you are an intelligence minister? Because you work more like a trained spy," he blurted at last, unable to hold the thought in any longer.
Yajushi glanced up, a small smile tugging at her lips. "These eyes have spent more years searching for hidden truths and unseen secrets than reading ledgers. The post of Intelligence Minister demands that nothing unwanted stays concealed. No matter where it hides.”
Rayan fell silent for a moment. Vibhiraj had told him earlier that Yajushi knew their true identities, and he had felt oddly relieved. Among all the men around him, at least here was one woman who brought a gentler kind of ease. He had always felt more at peace in the company of women; after all, he had grown up beside Samhita, and then Liza had joined their lives. So naturally, this sense of comfort came easy. Female energy had always brought him ease.
