Humanity has come a long way. As far as our eyes can see, we witness wonders beyond the wildest dreams of primitive humans. Creations incredible beyond believes. We hold the power to create, and while we may not be Almighty, we produce marvels worthy of awe.
Our fingers are grazing the edge of a future that used to live only in our wildest dreams. Technology's booming, innovation's skyrocketing, and every day we're getting more powerful.
We're moving forward, that's true, but at what price? The skyscrapers may touch the clouds, but our souls are stuck here on the ground. We're like Sampati, climbing ever higher but blissfully unaware of the fall that's coming.
(Sampati is a vulture from the epic Ramayana who soared high in the sky with his brother Jatayu, engaging in a friendly competition. However, the intense heat of the sun caused him to lose his wings, leaving him featherless. This story mirrors the symbolism of Icarus from Greek mythology, though the circumstances are quite different)
We're losing touch with something fundamental. Morality. It is fading away in the blinding shine of progress. It's eating me up inside. How can we be so advanced and still so clueless? In our chase for greatness, we're trampling over the things that should define us. We have swapped empathy for efficiency and compassion for convenience. We create bridges, but end up feeling more isolated than ever.
