I'm pacing around like a mad person. My mind is all over the place now. But the thing that's freaking me out the most right now is Samhita. I've never felt this much fear and dread about anything before. It's like all my worries are pouring out when it comes to her. With an intensity beyond reach of understanding.
She's got so many enemies gunning for her, and just imagining her taking any reckless risks is enough to take my breath away. The real issue is, I can't even fully open up to her about the truth. There's a time for her to get all her memories back, but right now, controlling her impulses is something I can't handle on my own.
The chant of the Mantra fades away, halting me in my tracks. I enter the sacred space and see Gurudev sitting serenely on the stone platform with closed eyes in peaceful meditation.
I approach him and bow deeply. "Pranipaat, Gurudev," I reach out to touch his feet in reverence.
(Greetings)
